The Solution™ Beauty Collagen is a dietary supplement in the beauty category—specifically, a neutral-tasting collagen powder consumed orally to work from within. It counteracts skin aging, reducing wrinkles, fine lines, and cellulite while enhancing skin firmness and elasticity.

The Solution™ is a dietary supplement. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded and does not provide increased benefits. Dietary supplements should not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, nor should they replace medication. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or using prescription medications, a doctor should be informed before taking dietary supplements.

The Solution™ contains 100% hydrolyzed bovine collagen peptides, broken down by enzymes. There are no additional additives. A daily dose of The Solution™ consists of 2.5 grams (0.09 oz) of hydrolyzed collagen, providing 10 calories and a minimum of 2 grams of protein.

To boost collagen production and begin to prevent wrinkles, starting a collagen routine in your twenties is ideal. The collagen level in the body/skin drops near the end of our twenties. The Solution™ Beauty collagen both helps prevent and reduce wrinkles.

Collagen powder should be taken daily over time for the best effect, any time of day. Studies on facial skin were carried out over eight weeks, while a cellulite study was conducted over the course of six months. If you forget to take it for a day or two, no problem, pick back up where you left off. If you stop completely, the positive effects will gradually decrease. Luckily, it’s an easy routine to stick with consistently. 

The Solution™ Beauty collagen is a powder, completely odorless and neutral in taste, that can be mixed into both food and drink, cold or hot. Include it in your daily morning routine, mix it in coffee/tea, juice, yogurt, a smoothie or simply stir it into a glass of cold water and enjoy. 

We recommend that you consult your doctor or nurse before starting any new dietary supplement during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. That being said, there are no reported side effects of The Solution™, and thus nothing to suggest that the product would be harmful to those who are breastfeeding or pregnant. 

The Solution’s collagen peptides come from bovine sources, so they are not vegan. Our collagen peptides are made to mimic our body’s own peptides and so far, bovine sources have proven to offer the best effect. You can read a more thorough explanation here.

Yes, our producer ensures compliance with EU regulations for heavy metals in our products. We test collagen for Cd, Hg, and Pb levels, and additionally, we take random samples every other year from finished products to confirm they are below allowable limits.

Variation in color and taste of products based on a natural raw material is completely normal. The product has the same effect regardless of this natural variation and is completely safe to use.

If you mix The Solution™ powder into a liquid, the powder can occasionally clump. When mixing, stir well and leave for a few minutes until dissolved. The powder may not dissolve well or completely in carbonated and sugar-free drinks.

Collagen is a protein found naturally in the body, the single most important factor in keeping our skin smooth and resilient. Collagen production in the body is believed to decrease beginning around our late twenties. Young skin can contain up to 80% collagen. In our 30s, the amount of collagen begins to decrease by about 1-2% each  year. When the skin starts losing its resilience against external forces like sun, pollution, diet, and smoking, lines and wrinkles begin to develop.

Collagen is also naturally found in protein-rich food, but in order for the skin to benefit from the intake, the collagen must be broken down into exact peptide lengths. Proteins in food are not hydrolyzed, and therefore have no such effect on the skin.

There are different types of collagen, type 1 works on skin and type 2 on joints. The Solution™ contains type I collagen. This particular collagen protein is hydrolyzed (broken down with the help of enzymes) into peptides, or a chain of amino acids. The unique, controlled process in which specific enzymes break down the collagen into peptides makes the wrinkle-reducing effect of this product possible. These peptides (developed by Verisol®) have been shown in double-blind studies to have a positive effect on skin's elasticity, lines and wrinkles. Read more about the study here.
 

Studies show a significant effect on the skin when eating/drinking Verisol® collagen. This is the collagen we use in The Solution®. By consuming collagen in this way, all skin, both on the body and the face, will benefit. To take good care of the skin, creams help to add moisture and protect us from sun damage. In 2014, the German company Gelita published study results on the oral intake of the collagen peptides with the trademark Verisol®. The results were startlingly good, a full 20% reduction in wrinkle depth was measured.

A study from 2013 shows that Verisol® collagen increases the elasticity of the skin by as much as 15% after just four weeks. Cellulite was significantly reduced during a study that took place over six months. The results were published in 2015.

All studies are double-blind, randomized and placebo-controlled and published in recognized medical journals. 114 test subjects (women) aged 45-65 participated. Participants received 2.5 g of Verisol® or placebo once daily for eight weeks. There were 57 women in each group. Read more about the studies here.

A double-blind test/study is carried out in such a way that neither the test participants nor the person carrying out the examination knows who gets the active ingredient and who gets a placebo (pill without active ingredients).
